Our History
We have three generations and over 80 years of experience in the manufacture of all types of rigid paperbox construction.
Earlville Paperbox Company, Inc. was founded in 1926 by Wilbert J. Upton, the president of the company. He, along
with two other gentlemen, began a packaging industry featuring set-up boxes, wooden silverware chests, and cloth covered linings
for these chests.
Following World War II, each segment of the packaging group broke off and formed its own independent
entity. For nearly twenty years following, Wilber J. Upton ran the set-up box plant.
In 1969, ownership of the business
was transferred to Wilbert's son, Richard T. Upton, who remains the current president and operates the factory along with
his sons, Mark and Steven Upton.
Most recently the company has increased its capabilities and added folding and corrugated packaging to its already large assortment
of services. Offering you a one-stop packaging destination.
Our Philosophy
We at Earlville Paper Box Co. have only one goal, and that is the satisfaction of our valued customer. We will produce a
box to our customer's specifications that not only will help sell their product, but also be competitive in price.
